We had a very enjoyable experience at Rosmarino. It was our first visit and the signature degustation was an excellent choice. The service was warm and attentive, and the farinata tartufo and bug pasta were the highlights of the meal. The only disappointment was the desserts. As a tiramisu lover, I was excited to try their version after hearing great feedback, but the dessert was extremely salty to the point of being inedible. It wasn’t a small amount of salt to balance the sweetness, it genuinely tasted like a salty dish and made me reach for water straight away. The waitress was very accommodating when we raised it. She checked with the chef, confirmed that this was how it was meant to be, and kindly offered us an alternative. We chose the mille-feuille, which was definitely better, but the lemon curd still had quite a strong salty taste, and again, we couldn’t finish it.

It was an amazing experience. The food was wonderful. The dishes were all high quality. The service was exceptional as well. We greatly appreciate the rich variety of vegetarian dishes (in fact, they have a dedicated vegetarian menu). The price is on the higher side, but it is definitely worth it. I went there for my birthday, and it was truly a wonderful celebration at Rosmarino.

A really beautiful restaurant with great service and a perfect atmosphere. The dishes were well presented and everything else tasted wonderful. The only downside was the duck — although it was cooked ‘medium’, it was unfortunately quite chewy and fatty. Even the skin lacked the crispiness you’d normally expect and was a bit tough to cut through. I left some duck left on my plate as it was not eatable. Everything else on both dishes was excellent, but the duck could definitely use some improvement as it was quite disappointing from a restaurant with a high status.

This was insanely good. Such a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere. The service was impeccable and the food was great. The carpaccio was one of the best I’ve had. Loved the burrata. Both the Morton bay bug spaghetti and the duck ravioli special were great. On the pricey side but I think worth it

We had the pleasure of dining at Rosmarino tonight and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive – a level of service that’s becoming all too rare. The food was exquisite, each course beautifully presented and full of flavour. One detail that really stood out was the table being wiped down between courses – a small touch that speaks volumes about their standards. It was a birthday celebration, and the team went above and beyond to make it special, even singing happy birthday at the table. I’ve dined at many restaurants around Brisbane, and Rosmarino is without question among the very best. A truly lovely evening from start to finish – highly recommended.
