My husband is very neutral about Italian food but he took me here tonight because he knew I loved pasta. Well, we both ended up eating two dishes each because it was unbelievably delicious. The cappellacci ai porcini was the star of the night and made the other dishes pale in comparison. Maybe we'll try a tomato-based pasta next time or maybe we'll just get cappellacci again, but for sure this restaurant is worth revisiting.

The pasta was incredible! They make traditional Italian pasta, and even the noodles are handmade — absolutely perfect. The burrata and ham were amazing, and the wine paired so well with everything. Every pasta dish was just outstanding. And the tiramisu? Honestly the best tiramisu of my life.

Riviera is an authentic Italian pasta laboratory. All the pasta is hand made on the premise.There is a small dining section or alternatively you can purchase the fresh pasta to take away. A group of us dined in and had share plates. Each dish was unique and delicious. The service was excellent 👌 It can get noisy if the place is full. I am looking forward to going back to try other dishes!

First review in 2024 - lunch with a friend: What a find. How I didn't know about this place and it's been there 5 years?! I'm shocked. This is a treat of a place. It's authentic, real, and just perfect. There is no signage for the place, so you just need to know where to look. There is a neon logo on the back wall that helps to recognise it. The food is excellent, the wine selection is good, and the service is good too. You definitely need to book as it's a small size restaurant with around 20 seats. We went on a Wednesday for lunch and it was full. We spent $70 each, which included a starter, main, and two glasses of wine. I'll definitely be going back. July 2025 - Anniversary celebration with my husband: I finally went back with my husband, and we loved it! Service is good, food is delicious, and it's so affordable, especially for this area! You really need to book as they were full on a Wednesday night! My husband loved this place so much he wanted to go back the next day or order takeaway of another pasta so he could try more of their food the next day. They have a sign on the window now, so slightly easier to find. The decor of this place is so basic, but it's so perfect as this place is so authentic, it's all about the food! We love it and will definitely go back sooner rather than later.

A nice cosy Italian restaurant that serves great homemade pasta with authentic flavours! Came here for dinner and got the: - Truffle Burrata with bread 7/10, Nice and soft bread, and with good truffle flavouring. - Duck bigoli 8/10, the pasta for this dish is much thicker and more chewy so be warned, but I enjoyed the texture and the duck mince served with it is great - really liked this one! - Tortellini 7/10, again the pasta was a bit thick, but super delicious! The sauce was nice but overall I thought the dish lacked a little flavour. - Tiramisu 7/10, A very soft, custard rich tiramisu (again, personally to my taste) but I know SOME others prefer a firmer texture. - The wines were lovely too Overall the restaurant is quite traditional, so both the options of the menu and flavour palette is a bit different to your typical Italian restaurant in Australia! A little pricey, but would come back :)
