Pretty disappointing! It is so hyped on social media platforms. Small Menu which is in itself not an issue of course but you would expect a restaurant like that to offer a little more options. Asking for that prices and then delivering the food on cracked plates is a no go. Both of our plates! The red wine was too cold which shouldnβt be the case. The portions were pretty small. The food was good but nothing special. Wouldnβt go there again.
Very popular restaurant with great food and and service. We had a 2.5 hour lunch time slot for party of 6. The restaurant was really busy. The food was amazing - really well presented, beautiful flavours and good portions. We sat downstairs - my only gripes was that we were quite cramped and put against the wall, it was quite stuffy downstairs and there is a damp musty smell. Service was good. If a nice day I would sit upstairs or outside.
Got the $110ish banquet menu, so great value for money with the amount of quality food!! Everything was so perfectly curated and paired well. Great service also. Would deffs recommend. (Only thing I could flaw is the downstairs area gets very hot and stuffy)
This restaurant sits between modern and classic Italian food, the best of both worlds! Amazing food and an impressive cocktail menu. Lots of on street parking nearby though it can be a timing thing! Seating is casual so you can enjoy a drink before eating in the same spot. Staff are lovely and friendly, attentive, with out being annoying π It does have very loud music which makes conversation difficult, we left a bit hoarse but had a really enjoyable evening here.
Iβd been meaning to try Pellegrino 2000 for ages (and yes, itβs got plenty of hype β Taylor Swift effect and all) but it absolutely lived up to it. The food was outstanding. We started with the focaccia and truffle butter, which I can only describe as life-changing β Iβd go back just for that. The prosciutto with burrata was fresh and simple, and the twice-cooked octopus with butter beans was another standout β perfectly balanced with a touch of acidity and creamy beans. We also shared the rigatoni carbonara, which was rich, silky and spot-on. Finished with the tiramisu β nice and delicate, though a bit too creamy for my taste. Overall though, a fantastic experience. Great service, beautiful food, and absolutely worth the visit.
