The food was exquisite! Every dish we tried was full of flavor and carefully prepared. The place is beautiful, cozy, and has a perfect atmosphere to enjoy a great meal. The service was excellent too; Coni attended us and was very kind and attentive throughout our visit. Definitely a dining experience worth repeating. Highly recommended!
the service here is 10/10!! staff is very attentive and didnβt take long for the food to arrive π loved the calamari and recommend especially if anyone prefers acidic flavours!! pasta chicken alfredo: 9/10. the dish was creamy and filling, and very satisfying if paired with the calamari. the chicken was simple but lacked a bit of salt. gamberi: 10/10!! i really appreciated the rich flavour of the pesto with the nuanced taste of the prawns on the pasta. raspberry sorbet: 9/10 i really enjoyed the bittersweet taste of the raspberry and i really reccommend. vanilla ice cream: 8/10 classic flavour everyone loves!! the chef also very kindly included desserts on the house π₯Ή a big thank you to the chef and staff for the amazing experience here at la cucina!!
This restaurant is undoubtedly a premier spot for fans of Italian cuisine. First of all, be sure to make a reservation before visiting; however, you might get lucky and find a counter table available without one. Even with a reservation, you may have to wait until the staff invites you to come in and take your seat at the table. But trust me, it's absolutely worth it, you'll enjoy wonderfully prepared Italian dishes like pizza, pasta, and more. We sampled both their pasta and pizza, and I can confidently say that they were among the best we've ever tasted and could rival authentic Italian restaurants in Italy. If you're a fan of pizza, pasta, and other Italian specialties, this is the place to go. They also have a bar that serves excellent drinks and cocktails.
We visited La Cucina after seeing all the glowing reviews, but left a little underwhelmed. The pasta was perfectly al dente, but the sauces just didnβt hit the mark. Both the spaghetti marinara and the vegetable tagliatelle special were surprisingly sweet, lacking salt and depth, and the Napoletana sauces didnβt have the richness youβd expect. The meatballs were very small for the cost, especially when youβre paying total of $170 for two people (1 entree, 2 mains and a side dish, with a glass of wine each). Service was great, and the place has a lively, bustling vibe. Just be prepared: itβs extremely noisy. On a Sunday night it was packed, and we had to raise our voices to hear each other. A good night out, but the food didnβt quite live up to expectations given the google ratings and the price.
First time eating at this restaurant. Overall, food and staff were great. Special mention to our waiter Coni who was so helpful and friendly. My partner and I ordered the Aglio Olio and Carbonara pastas and we both would highly recommend. The tiramisu and sticky date pudding was also a hit and a great way to end the meal. It was so good that we ordered an extra Funghi pizza for home. Highly rate and well worth the wait.
