Dined here on Monday night. We didn’t book in advance so appreciate we could dine without a booking. We were sat with menus and waited for the drinks order. First world problem, but waited quite a while and the drinks order was taken at the same time as our food. No follow up on additional drinks, which we would have been excited to order which as a result would have increased their average dollar sale. I ordered a dirty martini but there seemed to be some confusion and received a dry martini. Admittedly, I couldn’t see it on their drinks menu and when they realised they quickly replaced it with the correct drink. Out of 10 I would give their dirty martini a solid 7.5 out of 10. The olives were good yet the drink itself wasn’t dirty enough. Again, first world problem. We experienced another minor misunderstanding and Nikola whom I presume was the shift manger came to talk to us. She was very accomodating regarding the misunderstanding and changed the overall review. Onto the meal. The food was very good. One of my daughters is gluten intolerant yet the Pizza menu offered GF bases. The bases were ok, not the most amazing but better than most gluten free bases she’s tried. The pasta was amazing, the veal was amazing. Would I come back again? The back out house had it all under control yet the front of house has some misalignment issues.

An absolute delight! Incredible food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. Attending at the 11th hour we were welcomed and provided with a memorable experience. Barman Tom, not only gifted at surpassing your beverage expectations, alongside colleagues makes you feel like you’re dining with your favourite people. Jane is modest claiming little contribution yet goes the extra mile and Gianni…. What a star! Do Not pass on visiting or having a bar dining experience. Seriously, if you’re in Brisbane you must dine here if visiting or if a local become a regular.

After a mix up with our booking we sat at the bar - not an issue - and after a bit of a wait our orders were taken and drinks came quickly. That’s about where the good service ended and the night took a turn. We had our entrees at the bar and were kindly moved to a table that became vacant. From there we were in no man’s land, waiters skirted around us avoiding eye contact, one reluctantly took a drink order - but only from two of us, then hurried away. We then waited a considerable amount of time for our mains- which when they came out were hot but by the time we were given any plates to eat off of, the food was stone cold. The Food itself was delicious, the Ragu was really a highlight and if you’re looking for a safe choice you can’t go wrong with the Margherita pizza. As the night went on and the restaurant got less busy, it strangely became even harder to get any one’s attention. We were never offered more drinks or asked if we would like to order dessert - and trying to get anyone’s attention to pay for the meal was a very slow process. I don’t think the staff would have even noticed if we had just walked out. If you’re at the casino and looking for a casual dinner, sure, it’s worth a go and the food is good. If you’re looking for an upscale dining experience at a nice Italian restaurant, there are plenty of others in Brisbane that your money and time would be better spent at. *parking is also a hassle but that’s more a reflection on the casino then the restaurant - but something to be aware of*

This little star was great! Pizzas were great, pastas are good in small portions, and their batter/crumb was exceptional -from calamari to cotolleta 👌👌 Casual and accommodating atmosphere. But most of all, the lady who looked after our table was outstanding!
