We tried the steak deal for dinner and it was excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly, the chips were crisp, and the salad was fresh and well balanced. Every part of the meal was spot on, and the pricing was very reasonable. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. Definitely a place we’d be happy to return to.

I am absolutely staggered that this place has any reviews above 2 stars. I dined with a group of friends under the pretence that this was an Italian restaurant, as described by the person hawking business out the front. I would go so far as to say that the positive reviews are by the business themselves or their friends as it is inconceivable that we were so unlucky that we endured one of the worst meals ever put on a plate. Once we sat down and were given menu's by the waiting staff, the most obvious issue was that there was barely an Italian dish on the menu, and at that point we should have just gotten up and walked out, but we sadly we persevered. We were quite hungry, so we ordered some appetisers to give us time to sort out main meals. Warning number 2 that something was wrong, was the plates of garlic bread that I suspect came from a supermarket packet and were very clearly cheap and generic goods. There was no Italian love in these, they were flat out nasty. The buffalo chicken wings that were ordered (because all good Italian restaurants serve them), were later advised to be off the menu as there are no chickens. Fair enough, this could be a bird flu issue, and that wouldn't be the fault of the restaurant. So instead we ordered lamb ribs and some scallops. Now to be fair, the scallops were okay according to those that ate them, but they were tiny and insanely expensive given the amount that were served up. The lamb ribs were very tender, but overwhelmingly sweet according to those who dared to try the darkened blobs of meat that were served up. My suspicions were fully confirmed when I asked the waiting staff if the chef was Italian, to which I was informed that the chef was in fact Sri Lankan, but very good. At this point, it was completely evident that we had been hoodwinked. By now, half the group were ready to walk away and the other half felt committed to "the adventure", so mains were ordered. I had really wanted to have an Italian dish, and given that I was not interested in spending much money at this point, I ordered the funghi pollo risotto. I had no hopes for this dish, yet I was appalled when the soup that was apparently a risotto was served to me. There are no words that can describe the dish, it simply was the worst looking risotto that I had ever seen, and this was the general consensus around the table. Similar responses were elicited from the person who ordered the classic pizza with prosciutto and the penne carbonara. The pizza was a massive overload of congealed cheese with the limpest soggy base you could possibly find on a pizza. The person who ordered garlic prawns with no cheese due to food allergies, was unpleasantly surprised to get a dish covered in parmesan, which caused confusion for the wait staff who seemed surprised that the dish didn't match the order. The person who ordered the linguine was actually happy when their order didn't arrive, as they at least didn't have to endure trying the food. The strangest sight out of all dishes, was the steak and chips where the chips were none too liberally sprinkled with parmesan cheese, because, why not? I'm sure it won't come as a surprise that few people were able to eat their meals and some of the group were forced to leave and get a meal elsewhere. Honestly, this restaurant is part of the sham that I have seen growing in Australia where unscrupulous vendors are playing off the love for certain styles of food, that they have no business trying to emulate.

I can honestly say tonight’s dinner was absolutely the worst dinner I had in my whole life’s history of dining. No idea how this place has 4.7 star rating. No idea where you people have dined before to rate this place 5 star 😔. It is a restaurant placed in the basement which looks like it was night club previously, with remaining decor and lights and not to mention state of the toilets. I will be very lucky not to end up with food poisoning within next 24h. I will let you all know if I did. Food was far from fresh… ravioli was definitely previously frozen… fries were super oily… mussels only God knows how old. Rana pasta you get from Woolies has a lot more flavour and it is actually fresh comparing to what they serve here. No idea why we haven’t left after entre. The only thing I enjoyed was glass of wine and the company I had this „ horrible experience” with. All this experience cost us $150 between two people. Do not recommend this place to anyone!

What a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely true to the description in the menu. We had three courses and all was absolutely delicious. Hubby and I shared each meal across the table and couldn’t decide what was best, all of it was amazing. Service was impeccable and all done with a genuine smile. We can’t wait to come back.
